FEMA Direct Lease Program

FEMA is seeking owners of rental units for families displaced by the Maui wildfires. Units are offered to survivors for long-term leasing for up to 24 months.

FEMA contracts three property management companies to coordinate between property owners and FEMA. Through the program, owners can house a family in need and receive compensation for doing so.

Property owners can reach out directly to FEMA subcontractors Lima Charlie Inc, Fedcology, or Aesthetic Home Investments.

Benefits:

  • FEMA guarantees the rent and provides insurance

  • Qualify for lower property taxes
